A little over two years ago, I was feeling extremely hopeless about life and the world in

general. Everything felt so heavy, weighing on me like a herd of elephants. Stuck in a state of perpetual fear, falling into a cycle of anxiety and procrastination. The world had so many problems, and they all seemed so big, and they seemed like they were only getting worse. So, I took to what I knew best: writing. It didn't start as much. Just a mere journal entry, an idea. Something to make sense of the horror of our home. But then it turned into so much more. It turned into a plan. Into actions. Into a first draft, and then a second, and a third, and one more just to be safe. Now, it's a full-fledged book coming to take the world by storm.
In all honesty, I never thought this day would come. The Dark Corner of the Room: A Collection of Poems and Prose on Life's Disasters began as a handmade therapy session. One that was never meant to see the light of day. It was meant to be a reflection of the scary things in life, the things that kept me up at night questioning why any of us were here. It is a reflection of the horrors of life. Crafted for interpretation, questioning, and contemplation.
The Dark Corner of the Room: A Collection of Poems and Prose on Life's Disasters will be released on June 30, 2025, on Amazon in paperback and e-book formats. You can find more information and announcements on my Instagram and YouTube.
